Smith) are recorded only as third-person Deseret News summaries, with no full JD text located — consistent with the bibliography, not a vault gap. Notable: a Solemn Assembly was held October 10 that sustained church leadership and formally accepted the Doctrine and Covenants as scripture; 300 cows and 2,000 sheep distributed to poor members.
