Daniel H. Wells · · 1878-06-01
Published in Journal of Discourses, Volume 19, pp. 367-371, reprinted from the Territorial Enquirer (per the printed source note preceding the byline). Reported by John C. Graham; the speaker did not review this text before publication. calling_at_time follows the printed byline ("Counselor Daniel H. Wells") verbatim: the First Presidency had been dissolved since Brigham Young's death in August 1877 and was not reorganized until October 1880, so no more specific counselorship can be verified for this date.
Reprinted from the Territorial Enquirer; reported by John C. Graham; speaker did not review. BYU ContentDM's item-detail page currently fails to render in modern browsers (loads, then a client-side script redirects to the generic lib.byu.edu collections page; reproduced 2026-08-05, site-wide BYU bug, not link-format specific). Re-promote to preferred/source_url once BYU fixes this.
Page-anchored scan witness for Journal of Discourses volume 19, page 367. Currently the only reliably clickable link for this talk; BYU ContentDM is the institutionally preferred citation but its item pages are currently broken client-side (see the BYU witness note).
Ingested; not yet independently reviewed.
