The printed byline gives no day of the month -- it reads 'Sunday Afternoon. --------, 1878.' with the date left blank (a dash) in the original printing -- so only the year 1878 is confirmed; date is set to 1878-01-01 as a year-only placeholder with date_precision: approximate, following this entry's position in the volume's index (immediately before the April 1878 General Conference entries) as the sole ordering clue. If a more precise day is later established (e.g. from a Deseret News report of a Fourteenth Ward Sunday meeting), update date/date_precision accordingly.
