Evans Shorthand Notebooks, BYU Library MSS 6857 box 1 folder 5 item 4 images 4-74, catalogued at the Church History Library. Sermon in Journal of Discourses 18:29-40. Transcribed by LaJean Purcell Carruth 29 June 2020. Carruth's footnotes bracket two stretches of the shorthand that the printed Journal of Discourses omits outright, so this transcription carries funeral-discourse content that survives nowhere in print. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 18:29-40 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
