Published in Journal of Discourses, Volume 16, pp. 47-59. Reported by James Taylor. Speaks of continuing a subject addressed "yesterday afternoon" by brother (John) Taylor -- the printed dateline reads Sunday morning, so this refers to a Saturday-afternoon discourse, not to the immediately preceding printed entry (jod-16-007, Brigham Young's Sunday-afternoon Unbelief discourse); the printed volume's entry order does not always match strict delivery order within a single meeting series. Preserved this volume's printed archaic verb spelling "prophecy"/"prophecied" (for "prophesy"/"prophesied") and the printed misprint "Amonihah" (for the Book of Mormon place name Ammonihah) where both research oracles had silently modernized them, and restored the printed hyphenation "breast-plates" (Pratt's own narration) alongside the printed "breast plates" as two words (in the two Book of Mormon quotations), which the oracles had flattened to one word "breastplates" in both places. Text transcribed from the printed JD.
