Evans Shorthand Notebooks, BYU Library MSS 6857 box 1 folder 5 part 1 images 2-29, 50-82. Sermons in Journal of Discourses 15:16 and 15:1; no CR 100 317 reference is given. Transcribed by LaJean Purcell Carruth 14 August 2017, corrected February 2023. The item is a two-sermon unit covering both discourses of 28 April 1872 -- the Sunday morning sermon at images 2-29, printed at Journal of Discourses 15:16, which this witness records, and the Sunday afternoon sermon at images 50-82, printed at Journal of Discourses 15:1. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 15:16 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
