Reported by Elder Wm. Thurbood (not G. D. Watt, the era's more frequent JD reporter); the speaker did not review this text before publication. One of Heber C. Kimball's last recorded discourses before his death on June 22, 1868 (memorialized in the adjacent catalog entry jod-12-039).
