Carruth notes the Journal of Discourses text is greatly expanded, with most of its quoted scriptures absent from the shorthand and some shorthand scriptures dropped, and her footnote reports the JD 11:249 headnote as dated 7 June 1866 while adopting 17 June 1866 from the volume contents, a Sunday and the date the printed page header carries. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 11:249 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
