Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Proofread against the official/CHL/JSP source plus scan/OCR witness; fixed a stale-claims bug (see heavyweight notes) and added [[talk-id]] cross-links for all ten discourses.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: fixed a recurring stale-claims bug — this file wrongly asserted Hyde's, Taylor's, and Wells' October 7-8 discourses were 'not yet transcribed in this vault,' when all three, plus Smith's two discourses, Cannon's, Benson's, and Young's, already existed as separate filed talks; rewrote the Saturday/Sunday/Monday summaries to name and cross-link all ten discourses in their correct session, matching the historicalgeneralconferences.weebly.com session order (verified: Saturday Oct. 7 = Hyde, Smith 'Prosperity of the Saints', Taylor; Sunday Oct. 8 = Cannon, Smith 'Synopsis of Remarks', Wells; Monday Oct. 9 = Lyman, Young, Benson, plus Cannon's missionary/PEF report and First Presidency statement on Orson Pratt's publications). Body collated paragraph-by-paragraph against the Weebly witness (fetched as raw HTML, not summarized): session order, sustaining-vote/report details, and the closing dismissal/benediction all confirmed accurate with no OCR errors found. Confirmed all ten discourse files are genuinely distinct (no duplicate-file pairs in this conference, unlike 1864 October). fidelity: fragmentary remains correct per schema/schema.md for record_type: conference_record.
