Carruth notes that the published transcript is significantly different from the shorthand version and includes long sections of text that are not in the shorthand record at all; the shorthand also preserves an aside, bracketed by Watt, in which Young asks the brethren to give their seats to the women and let the young men stand. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 11:119 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
