Carruth CR 100 912 inventory item cr-100-912-0569. Scholarly re-transcription of George D. Watt's original Pitman shorthand report, catalogued at the Church History Library. Papers of George D. Watt MS 4534 box 4 disk 2 images 25-29. Sermon in Journal of Discourses 11:73; not in CR 100 317. Transcribed by LaJean Purcell Carruth 8 January 2016. Carruth's footnotes collate the shorthand against the printed text, flagging JD 11:78 and 11:79 as divergent and recording that the Journal of Discourses significantly expanded the passage on the sense of smell. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 11:73 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
