Daniel H. Wells · · 1862-10-26
Published in Journal of Discourses, Volume 10, pp. 7-9. Reported by G. D. Watt; the speaker did not review this text before publication. Collated against the BYU JoD volume 10 page scan (ContentDM JournalOfDiscourses3, ids 4369 down to 4367, pp. 7-9) via the item's own page-level OCR, an independent lineage from the two research oracles. Header confirmed from the discourse's own byline: 'Remarks by President Daniel H. Wells, made in the Bowery, Great Salt Lake City, October 26, 1862. Reported by G. D. Watt.' October 26, 1862 falls well outside the 1862 GC windows in indexes/conference-calendar.md (April 6-9, October 6-8); category set tabernacle_address. No dropped block found against the independent page scan; both research oracles agree word-for-word (one shared lineage, not independent verification).

Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 10:7 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
