MS 4534 box 3 disk 2 1859b images 124-129. Sermon in Journal of Discourses 7:308, which Carruth describes as exceptionally accurate; not in CR 100 317. Transcribed from George D. Watt's shorthand record by LaJean Purcell Carruth 11 May 2012. Watt heads the report Sunday September 19th 1859, a slip of the pen since 19 September 1859 fell on a Monday, and the catalogue date of 18 September governs; the shorthand also preserves Jacob Gates as the preceding speaker and John Long as the co-reporter, details the printed text does not give. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 7:308 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
