Watt's shorthand record by LaJean Purcell Carruth 16 November 2012. Carruth footnotes that the Journal of Discourses version differs significantly from the shorthand in places, that image 294 duplicates image 293, and that the unnamed member of the Quorum of the Twelve who handled the plates and later apostatized is Lyman Johnson. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 7:160 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
