Carruth CR 100 912 inventory item cr-100-912-0094. Scholarly re-transcription of George D. Watt's original Pitman shorthand report, catalogued at the Church History Library. Papers of George D. Watt, MS 4534 box 3 disk 1 1858 images 48-52. In Journal of Discourses 6:169; not in CR 100 317. Transcribed by LaJean Purcell Carruth August 2008, verified by Silvia Ghosh and corrected by LaJean Purcell Carruth 23 September 2020. This is the morning sermon of the day, and the shorthand preserves an opening line the printed text drops, in which Young says he wishes to continue some of the sayings of Brother Taylor -- the preceding discourse of the same meeting, printed at JD 6:162. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 6:169 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
Ingested; not yet independently reviewed.
