The BYU ContentDM catalog record for this scan (id/2238, which covers both this entry and the preceding Kimball discourse) gives date_original "August 2, 1857"; the opening line ("this morning") is consistent with a same-day Bowery meeting following brother Kimball's afternoon/evening discourse (jod-05-025) — hence date_precision approximate and occasion inferred rather than printed.
