Carruth CR 100 912 inventory item cr-100-912-0517. Scholarly re-transcription of George D. Watt's original Pitman shorthand report, catalogued at the Church History Library. Papers of George D. Watt MS 4534 box 6 disk 6 images 32-52. Sermon in Journal of Discourses 1:221; not in CR 100 317. Transcribed by LaJean Purcell Carruth 29 March 2018. Shorthand coverage is partial: Watt marked the sermon as continued elsewhere after the passage on peace societies, about JD 1:229, and Carruth notes the remainder is not extant, so the closing portion of the printed discourse has no shorthand witness; her footnotes also quote several JD passages to illustrate the editing. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 1:221 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
Ingested; not yet independently reviewed.
