Carruth dates the shorthand report 12 September 1852, a Sunday, against the 21 September 1852 date carried in the printed Journal of Discourses metadata and in this file, and the vault date is left unchanged pending review. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 6:247 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
