Watt's original Pitman shorthand report, catalogued at the Church History Library. MS 4534 box 1 folder 3 images 90-106. Morning sermon in Journal of Discourses 1:358-365; CR 100 317 box 1 folder 33. Carruth notes that Watt's transcript in CR 100 317 contains significant alterations from the shorthand, that the JD version alters it further, and that her PDF is marked as awaiting proofreading for this morning sermon. The afternoon sermon in the same item (a response to Gladden Bishop) was never published in JD and has no vault record. Recorded as a separate witness per docs/ingestion.md's Carruth policy; the printed Journal of Discourses 1:358-365 text stays preferred until this transcription is reviewed against it.
